Mama and actress Jessica Alba realizes that it is important to put her career on the back burner to raise her two daughters Honor, 4½, and Haven, 18 months.
"I used to work basically 11 and a half months out of the year on location, and now I don't," 31-year-old business owner explains. "I'm really much more picky with the roles that I take."
Whether she is busy working on the movie set or at The Honest Company office, Jessica typically has her two leading ladies in tow.
"I bring them with me," she says. "[Honor is usually] playing in the kids' corner and running amuck bothering everyone, throwing paper airplanes at their desks — but they love it!"
"To her, Mommy going to work is her sitting in a trailer and me [filming], or it's me at my office," Jessica comments about how her eldest doesn’t quite grasp what her famous mother does for a living. "I think she thinks it's all my job. She doesn't know the difference!"
Jessica recently opened up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about her darling daughters.
"Every day with my girls is a dream and just hanging out with them is the best thing ever. They're happy and healthy 1- and 4-year-olds who like to play, explore, get messy, and are creative. And since they're typical kiddos, they're bound to make me laugh."
